Our History

After nine years of pastoring in Washington State, Co-Pastors Elder Tony and Elder Deborah Sewell founded Lily of the Valley Ministries in Tampa Bay. Named during the 2003 General Assembly and inspired by Song of Solomon 2:1, the church was incorporated as a 501(c)(3) under Bishop Charles D. Smith.

Beginning with a small group, the ministry quickly outgrew its 600 sq. ft. space, transitioned to a 1,200 sq. ft. four-plex, and by 2009 secured its permanent 2+ acre campus with five fully renovated buildings.
